How often are my endpoints checked?

Depending on your plan: every 5 minutes (Starter), every 1 minute (Pro), or every 30 seconds (Enterprise). Each check verifies response status, latency, and availability.

What happens when my site goes down?

Sentinel detects the outage within one check interval, creates an incident automatically, and dispatches alerts through all your configured channels (email, Slack, webhooks). When the service recovers, the incident is resolved and a recovery notification is sent.

Can I embed uptime badges?

Yes. Every monitor gets a unique SVG badge URL you can embed in READMEs, documentation, or dashboards. The badge shows live uptime percentage and status color.

Is the status page customizable?

Each project gets a public status page at sentinel.promethean.software/status/your-slug. It shows all monitors, current status, and active incidents. You control which monitors are visible.

What integrations are supported?

Email, Slack, and generic webhooks (works with Discord, PagerDuty, Opsgenie, Microsoft Teams, and any HTTP endpoint). API keys let you build custom integrations.
